Permanent part-time role**

**Renault Retail Group seeks an Automotive Warranty Controller to join our aftersales team based on Trinity Way, Salford (M3). The role will involve handling Warranty cases and enquiries at both Renault Manchester and Renault Bolton - travel to bothsites will be expected.**

The Warranty Controller role involves submitting claims onto warranty systems using information from vehicle repair technicians’ assessments in line with manufacturer requirements and guidelines in order to maximise the recovery of warranty claims. Otherduties will include invoicing of internal preparation work, job card preparation, filing, and other administrative duties in line with the remit.

We are looking for someone who is a confident automotive Warranty Controller and experienced in dealing professionally with customers and negotiating strongly with warranty organisations and vehicle manufacturers to ensure they take responsibility wherethey clearly should do so.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Experienced in assembling and submitting automotive warranty invoices with detailed descriptions and photographs in line with Group, manufacturer and warranty standards
- Handling sensitive cases with utmost discretion and confidentiality
- scrutinising and following-up on outstanding warranty invoices to achieve the highest possible recovery rate
- maintaining accurate records of warranty claims using our dealer management system (DMS) and MS Excel
- keeping abreast of Manufacturer and Group Warranty policies and relevant legislation
- promoting best practice at our regional dealerships that support optimal recovery rates

Reporting to the Service Manager, the selected individual can expect to have regular interaction and teamwork with other members of the Service Departments of Renault Manchester and Renault Bolton including Service Advisors and Technicians, the Parts Managerother dealership staff including Accounts and the Head of Business.

A solid track record as a dealership Warranty Controller or Senior Service Advisor is essential as is recent experience in using a dealer management system identical or similar to Kerridge, ADP Autoline or CDK Drive. Practical experience using the MicrosoftOffice suite in a similar role is expected too, in particular MS Excel, Word, Outlook and MS Teams.

The main base for this role will be Renault Manchester, with frequent visits to Renault Bolton expected; business mileage for these trips is reimbursable.

The hours for this role are 8:30am to 5:30pm with 30 minutes for lunch, 4 weekdays per week; for example Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (alternative patterns can be discussed at interview).

Total 34 hours per week.

**In return we offer a basic salary of £22,549 per annum, plus a monthly bonus scheme enabling an OTE circa £27,059 pa.**
