**Title: Ward Host / Catering Assistant/Caterer**

**WARD HOST / CATERING ASSISTANT - SOUTH WEST LONDON**

We are recruiting full-time Ward Host / Catering Assistants to work in a hospital in South West London.
Excellent opportunity for ongoing or permanent work.

Pay rate: Monday to Sunday - £11.44 per hour

Working hours are 07:00-16:00/17:00 (Monday to Sunday - 5/6 of 7)

**Duties include**:

- Preparation and presentation of food to high specification, receiving training as necessary.
- Ensuring that food is prepared in accordance with Company hygiene procedures.
- Ensuring that dishes are produced to required standards of quality for service.
- Delivering excellent customer service.
- Helping in the preparation, services, and distribution of meals to patients.
- Communicating with patients.
- Store goods correctly and use stock on a rotational basis to optimise efficiency and minimise food wastage.
- Mixing, decanting and packing food from incoming stores to Patient Services Trolleys.
- Ensure food is placed into safe storage on arrival (where appropriate) and in an order in accordance with HACCP/assured safe catering guidelines. Working in chilled area in the kitchen food store - suitable clothing provided on site.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar environment.
- Good communication skills.

**Applicants must be able to provide 3 years of referencing, this is essential**
**All applicants will be DBS (criminal record) checked.
**Benefits & Requirements**:
