**Company description**
We are recruiting for activity leaders at our Torbay a multi-activity holiday camps and with language schools. We provide children aged 4 - 12 with a range of exciting and unique activities during the school holidays including a range of Sports, Nerf Wars, Zorbing, Archery, Glow in the Dark Sports, Bouncy Castles, Arts & Crafts, Science experiments and more.
A working day is 8:15am - 5:15pm. We are recruiting for February Half term. Successful applicants will have to be able to fulfill these dates, with further work in the school holidays and parties at the weekend available. Our standard format during Covid-19 is 20 children supervised by 2 staff members. Full training on activities will be given or supervised by head activity leader.
Have a great personality and characteristics that lend themselves to working with children;
Full of enthusiasm and energy
An ability to communicate with confidence
Speak in a manner that is appropriate for working with children
Excellent knowledge and hold qualifications of sports coaching, which should include;
Recognised NGB Level 2 Coaching Certificate or above
Child Protection / Safeguarding Certificate
First Aid Certificate
Able to pass an Enhanced DBS Check and be deemed safe to work with children
Experience and knowledge of working with children and young people
Competent in literacy and numeracy
Driving license and access to a car
(Not so important for holiday camps if you live locally)
Competency to perform at a consistently high standard;
Able to follow a range of session plans
Be reliable and have good timekeeping
Be confident in delivering instructions and information
Ability to set up and deliver high-quality sports provision to children and young people
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: £80.00-£100.00 per day

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Torbay, Devon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
