Nineteen Recruitment is delighted to working with a local client, recruiting on their behalf for several Family Support Workers, roles that are available on a full-time basis based in the Newcastle area. These roles are long-term and commands a standard hourly rate of £10.42 per hour.

**Job description**

As a Social Care Officer, you will be required to help support and promote supervised Family Time sessions between children and their parents and/or immediate family members in Newcastle. The role can involve working with emotional, challenging and vulnerable young people and their families.

You will be responsible for transporting children to and from their Family Time sessions and liaising with foster carer’s, families and schools. Family Time sessions will be observed and recorded with advice and guidance offered. You will contribute to providing an outstanding Family Time service, sharing information with Social Workers who are undertaking assessments of families and you will also be responsible for providing families with advice and guidance to ensure the time they spend together is safe, fun and enjoyable.
- UK based work experience working with families and young people
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one
- Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
