**Key Purpose**
- Support the Remarketing Team manage core parts of the remarketing operating model and multi-channel strategy from vehicle collection to vehicle sale.
- Proactively monitor and manage vehicle stock down to targeted levels (total stock and overage stock).
- Oversee the remarketing supply chain ensuring vehicles are progressed to agreed SLAs and KPIs.

**Summary of Responsibilities**
- Work as an integral part of the teams focus on stock management supporting in many areas from business monitoring and reporting, through to close management of overage or ‘problem vehicles’, right through to ensuringdirect ALD customers pay and collect their vehicles in a timely manner.
- Take an active role in the BAU management of Remarketing suppliers with range of activities from checking vehicle progression to SLAs, whilst managing vehicle approvals (e.g. refurbishment). Where needed support additional engagement and dialogue with sister teams to help dialogue with wider 3rd party suppliers (e.g. DVLA, Experian).
- Support the regular provision of data and MI to support the management of the remarketing supply chain.
- Oversee the vehicle returns process - ensuring all ‘problem’ vehicles are managed back through the operating model to sale swiftly.
- Support the management and monitoring of supplier invoices and external spend to ensure both service and payment accuracy.
- Provide a range of ideas and continuous improvements to enhance both business efficiency and better customer outcomes through the ALD Carmarket / remarketing experience.
- Provide audit and compliance checking and validation across the remarketing operating model, delivering timely MI and action planning / tracking.
- Contribute to new End of Contract processes that enhance either the customer experience and / or remarketing value.
- Support the operations team in the management and promotion of the storage and reallocation proposition.
- Make sure good risk and compliance principles are followed at all times (including robust supervision controls are embedded).
- Act as a core member of the Remarketing team supporting each other as the Remarketing Transformation Programme implements further positive change and business development.

**Essential Criteria**
- Some experience of working with customers and / or suppliers
- Good communication and relationship skills (written and verbal)
- Well organised and has an ability to work at pace against set timescales
- A restless curiosity to recommend continuous improvements and help support change
- Experience of using data and or completing business reports (desirable, but not essential)
- An interest in vehicles (desirable, but not essential)
