Marketing Admin Assistant

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an **Marketing Admin Assistant** to join the Creative Team within the Marketing department as maternity cover on an initial 12 month contract.

Reporting into the Head of Creative and working closely with the Marketing Project Managers, the role focusses on helping to support our four owned brands: Gordon & MacPhail Whiskies, Benromach, The Cairn distillery and Red Door Gin. The team’s overall goal, in short, is to continue to build fame and advocacy of our brands in key markets around the world. The role involves a wide variety of tasks, helping to prepare and execute campaigns across various marketing channels. A great opportunity to take on responsibility and learn quickly. The role is based in Elgin, with the opportunity to travel regularly to Edinburgh, where some of the team are based.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate with external agencies, internal stakeholders and media/influencers
- Relevant experience of working in a busy office environment and managing multiple deadlines
- A relevant wine/spirit/whisky qualification and knowledge of the industry would be beneficial but not essential.
- A relevant marketing qualification, experience or keen interest in Marketing concepts and brands
- Excellent team working skills and the ability to work across multi-media platforms and different departments
- The ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised
- The ability to manage time, and prioritise workload appropriately
- Strong presentation skills
- Good customer service skills
- A full clean driving licence

36.25 hours per week (Fixed term)
