Test Engineer (contract) Staverton
contract to start ASAP and run until end of March.
Shorterm Group are currently working with a global Leader in manufacturing and overhauling aerospace structures, systems and components. They are looking to appoint a Test Engineer to join their successful team.
The company is undertaking a certification testing of hydro-mechanical product for a critical customer. They are therefore looking for a test engineer to help deliver their test campaign and work alongside their current team. A demonstrable history in the deliveryof DO160 test campaigns is highly desirable.

**Responsibilities**:
*Support and contribute to Health & Safety Objectives
*Review and understand Test Requirement documentation
*Review and understand the product, its operation and key features
*Work closely with Engineering Team to ensure Design Intent of testing is achieved.
*Prepare and commission test rigs
*Prepare test equipment for offsite tests (vibration, Salt Fog, Sand and Dust).
*Run internal Test Rigs via LabVIEW interface
*Support and deliver external tests
*Document test results via test reports. Updates daily throughout test campaign.
*Perform daily maintenance checks and operations.
*A demonstrable background in the delivery of test campaigns(DO160 desirable).
comfortable running a rig and logging data.
*Ability to work with third party service providers in a development environment.
*Experience of LabVIEW and other data acquisition products
*Understanding of instrumentation
*Understanding /Awareness of Aerospace procedures for hydraulic cleanliness
