**Job Title**: Racking Inspector

**Job Summary**:We are UK based lifting equipment engineers offering specialist engineering design & manufacturing services and leading nationwide inspection, testing and certification of lifting equipment. Clients include major companies in the power generation, power transmission, steel, petrochemical and nuclear industries. Established for over 75 years.

An Exciting opportunity to be a part of our newly formed racking inspection team. As part of an ongoing business development strategy, we are looking to grow into this sector, eventually offering a full variety of warehouse solutions.

**Location**: Ideally based in the North-West or West Midlands.

Our offices - Ellesmere Port, Rotheram and Lincoln.

Deployable nationwide when required by our clients. Suitable accommodation and allowances will be provided.

**Work Hours**: Basic hours are 39 hours per week, 8am to 4:30pm (3;30pm on Fridays).

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Carry out inspections of racking & storage equipment, produce reports through our digital inspection software
- Providing clients with technical support and advice throughout the racking inspection process
- Developing a relationship with customers on site and being the face of the company
- Occasionally operate away from our branches
- Assist with other areas of the business when required
- Take on further personal development such as new training and qualifications

**Reporting**:This is a key role in the company and reports to the Group Sales Manager.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- SEMA approved racking inspection (SARI)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A high degree of self-motivation
- Excellent organisational skills
- Digital competency (use of digital tablet on a day-to-day basis)

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Salary negotiable, £25k - £35k depending on experience and skill level
