**About the Role**:
As the Head of Recruitment, you will play a crucial role in spearheading and growing our Permanent division, catering to existing group clients and new customers throughout the UK.

The role will be based from our Glasgow HQ (G4 0LA) and offers hybrid home working.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead our Permanent Construction Division, working closely with the Managing Director to grow our brand as a prominent player across the UK Construction, Rail, and Infrastructure Markets.
- Understand the operational infrastructure to manage the recruitment process efficiently, including applicant tracking systems and screening and interviewing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and regulations, including employment laws and data protection regulations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing group company clients by delivering exceptional service, understanding their unique needs, and presenting the finest talent available in the market. Repeat business and referrals will be crucial for company growth and success.
- Develop a strong brand identity that resonates with construction clients, leveraging your network and group connections to increase awareness and attract potential new clients.
- Leverage existing network and contacts within the construction industry, participating in industry conferences, networking events, and targeted outreach to construction companies, contractors, and developers.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving recruitment practices, continuously adapting strategies to stay ahead of the competition and provide innovative solutions to clients.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a successful billing recruiter, ideally within construction or engineering.
- Customer centric mindset who understands the importance of long term relationships.
- Strong understanding of the commercial aspects of a recruitment business.
- Embraces technology and looks to stay ahead of the competition by providing innovative recruitment solutions.
- Demonstrated drive, resilience, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
