**Hourly Paid Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Instructor**

**Salary**: £19.48 per hour plus excellent benefits

**Contract Type**: Hourly Paid, Fixed Term to 31 August 2023

**Location**: Paignton, Devon
- We are seeking an experienced Hourly Paid Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Instructor to join our South Devon Marine Academy. South Devon College Marine Academy is based at Noss-on-Dart Marina on the banks of the River Dart in Kingswear.
- The desire to undertake a relevant higher-level qualification, if not already held, is essential. If not already held, you will be supported in gaining a teaching qualification within 3 years.
- You must be a qualified Powerboat Instructor, have relevant industry experience within the Marine and wider Marine Leisure sectors and experience of delivering RYA Powerboat Level 2 qualifications.
- You will be competent on vessel systems, including routine maintenance and vessel safety procedures. You must also be computer literate, with a logical approach to problem solving.
