**About the Role**:
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant in our SEND support role, you will play a vital role in supporting children with a variety of special needs. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing one-on-one support to children with SEND, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
- Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Building positive relationships with children and fostering their independence and confidence.
- Supporting children with a range of special needs, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), speech and language disorders, and learning disabilities.

**About You**:
We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualities:

- Passion for Making a Difference: You are passionate about supporting children with special needs and are dedicated to making a positive impact in their lives.
- Experience Working with Children or Young Adults: Previous experience working with children or young adults, whether in a professional or voluntary capacity, is essential.
- Adaptability: You can adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of children with special needs, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in your support strategies.
- Empathy and Patience: You have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children with special needs and approach your work with empathy, patience, and compassion.
- Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication is key to building positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.

**Hours and Start Date**:

- Hours: Monday to Thursday from 08:15 to 16:15, with an early finish of 15:00 on Fridays.

Pay: £18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
