Hurstead House Care Home is situated just off Halifax Road in Rochdale. We are a fairly small, family run care home looking for an enthusiastic, skilled & experienced cook to join our team.

The main job roles for this position are to provide appealing, nutritious, wholesome meals for our residents. This will require taking into account special dietary needs, such as pureed diets, halal food etc.
The kitchen also needs to be maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness. There will be weekly food orders which need to be made and recorded on delivery.

We are looking for applicants who have a good understanding of working in kitchens like this before, and would preferably have their food & hygiene training or something similar to show they can work in this environment comfortably.

The hours are 10:30AM-5:00PM, this allows us to cover both main meals, with breakfast being done before your arrival.

Currently this would be a bank position, full details of hours will be given at the interview.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
