Our client is a provision in Leeds that provides care for vulnerable children and young people who have complex histories, many have experienced significant trauma and often display challenging behaviour. They requires a Mechanics Instructor who can makea significant contribution to the school. They are looking for an innovative thinker who can support 10-17 year olds with a variety of Special Education Needs and Disabilities including SEMH, ASD, EBD and other complex needs.

Previous experience with social, emotional, mental heath issues is desirable but not essential, but they are looking for a resilient and caring person who can get involved, deliver creative and engaging lessons to its pupils and doesn't mind getting theirhands dirty in the workshop.
- Be passionate about working with children and young people
- Ideally have experience in working within an SEN school/care facility
- Be a good team player who can also work off their own initiative and have excellent communication skills
- Be engaging with a sense of humour
- Be hardworking, resilient, and honest
- Be willing to keep learning and progressing
