- The Manchester College has many Campus locations across Greater Manchester, each with its own specialist cutting-edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. We are the largest Further Education College in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.
**We have an exciting opportunity to us as a Business Tutor (T Level **Lead) on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.**
In addition to your current role, you will be expected to:
Lead the planning, co-ordination and delivery of student learning within the curriculum Transition and T Level programme. Ensure Schemes of Learning, Lesson plans, Course Files and other supporting documentation are designed and available
Demonstrate best practice and consistency across the department, with evidence of current high quality industry skills
Attend Transition and T Level meetings
Participate in the development of internal and external partnerships in order to disseminate information, share best practice, establish opportunities for collaborative work and enhance the delivery of learning in readiness for T Levels
Prepare for, attend and participate in awarding body T Level updates
Attend and positively engage in college CPD and share good practice around T Levels
Complete a minimum of five days external Industry updating ensuring pedagogy is continually developed including current industry practice
To participate in and support others in continual professional development activities to ensure skills and qualifications are in line with sector best practice and readiness for T Levels
To be successful in this role, you will need:
English and Maths - must be qualified to a minimum of Level 2
