**Opportunity**:
Our plant team has grown significantly over the last year, and we are now recruiting for an additional team member to join as a Trainee Hire Desk Controller. You will report to the Hire Desk Manager and be responsible for arranging the hire of plant, tools, and machinery to enable our production teams to fulfill site requirements.

**The Successful Applicant will**:

- Enjoy and have previous experience delivering high-class service using product knowledge and expertise to fulfill programme demands whilst balancing cost-efficiency.
- Possess a hands-on approach, an ability to meet changing deadlines and the drive to work within a fast-paced and high-pressured environment.
- Have a methodical approach, strong administration skills, and good attention to detail.
- Have previous experience within a related role.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Hiring, rehiring, and sourcing equipment from third party suppliers.
- Logging and resolving equipment breakdowns with relevant repair teams and external hire suppliers.
- Ensuring equipment is successfully delivered at designated dates/times and locations.
- Ensure all paperwork relevant paperwork is completed and kept up to date, including invoices, orders etc.
- Support plant team and other relevant teams where required, logging ad hoc queries where required.
