About the role.
We are looking to recruit a Head Chef for Ludo’s our Italian restaurant, who will be responsible for overseeing the smooth, safe, hygienic running of the kitchen. You will lead from the front whilst supervising and assisting in the production and presentationof food, ensuring the team deliver an amazing experience that our guests will value and remember. Our delicious menu features a variety of Italian inspired disheswith a gorgeous selection of flavours, we offer a range of freshly cooked stone-baked pizzas and calzone, pasta dishes and colourful salads.
Purpose of the role
- Lead and develop the kitchen team to deliver a fantastic dining experience Maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness with both the team and the working environment.
- Ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety legislation as well as company policy.
- Ability to analyse KPI’s to control food costs and labour.
- To follow and implement stock control systems to maximise gross profit margin.
- Competence to comply with menu specifications and ensure they are implemented and maintained by the team
