Driver/handyperson

As a driver for Milton Grange Day Centre, we will require you to safely transport clients to and from the Day Centre. You will also be responsible for weekly and monthly checks on the vehicles, reporting any concerns to management, as well as keeping the bus clean and well-maintained in order to operate our professional service.

You will also be part of the facilities team, you will lead the way in providing Health and Safety checks, reporting and undertaking any minor building repairs as well as some light decorating tasks. You will be working closely with another handyperson, facilities supervisor and Intermediate care manager.
- Already have acquired D1 on their licence or be happy to take on the training to acquire this. Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Physically able to carry out all tasks as required
- Have a sound knowledge of building maintenance and cleaning
- Ability to work to required standards
- Initiative to plan, prioritise and work with mínimal supervision and work independently
- Team players
- Are good-natured, kind, and considerate.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
