Permanent vacancy - HR Team Leader

Salary - £29,000 - £33,000

Location - Glasgow City Centre

Working days - Monday to Friday

Working hours - 35 hours per week, 9am - 5pm but the client is flexible

Hybrid working once fully trained

Our client based in Glasgow City Centre, is looking for a HR Supervisor/Team Leader to join their team of 12. They are looking for someone with a HR background but you must have experience leading a team as this is an essential part of the role. **Desired Skills**
- Manage, develop and recruit the HR Helpdesk team, delegating and allocating work as required to deliver a high-quality, first-class customer service and standard approach to administration for HR processes for the entire employee lifecycle from recruitmentand contract management (including Fixed Term Contracts) to end of employment leavers' processes
- Ensure the effective office management of the HR Directorate by managing the IT equipment estate in line with budgets, overseeing the department recruitment log, holiday tracker, to ensure the HR Directorate is supported to deliver the best customer service
- Develop an approach for ongoing administrative process and efficiency reviews by developing SLAs and assessing them regularly to interpret and report patterns and trends to highlight and prioritise issues for further customer service improvements
- Design and develop an effective customer service model for the HR Helpdesk to be the first point of contact for all University staff, providing a range of advice, guidance and signposting where the solution can be found elsewhere
- Manage HR staff access rights to relevant office systems including issuing of purchase cards, FMS, network drives, shared mailboxes
- Liaise with other Professional services to ensure the smooth running of the directorate, providing advice on wider University procedures to staff within the HR Directorate and act as the key point of contact in matters relating to estates, procurement
- Support the delivery of HR strategic projects and initiatives in line with the HR Activity Plan by providing high quality administrative support
- Undertake any other duties that might be reasonably requested by the HR Directorate

**About you**
- You will have experience working within a HR department
- Proficient with all MS packages
- Experience leading a team at Team Leader or Supervisory level
- High level of attention to detail and willing to provide excellent service at all times
