Driver Hire Southampton will be seeing an increase in demand for Class 1 shunting drivers in the upcoming weeks working in the Southampton docks. We are coordinating closely with one of our well established container companies as we get ready for a busy start to the year with shunting work. We want to prepare our drivers with plenty of work for the next coming months.

**About this role**:

- Monday to Friday
- Temporary ongoing work
- Guaranteed pay of 10 hours
- Day shifts
- Working hours are typically 6:00am till 6:00pm
- Class 1 shunting work in Southampton docks
- Container experience is preferred
- Training provided

**What we require from you**:

- Class 1 licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- DP World Certificate is essential
- Experience on Class 1 and container work is preferred (at least 3 months)
- Own transport to commute to and from work is desired
- No more 6 points on your licence
- Great time keeping and communication skills
