Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. As a Youth Worker, you will be responsible for providing support, guidance, and mentorship to children and young adults. Your role will involve working with individuals who may have special education needs or require additional assistance. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and help them reach their full potential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement programs and activities that promote the social, emotional, and educational development of youth
- Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to children and young adults
- Assist with educational activities, including tutoring and homework help
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate events and outings
- Monitor and assess the progress of each individual, identifying areas for improvement
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on their child's progress
- Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, behavior, and achievements

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children or youth in a professional setting
- Knowledge of special education practices and techniques
- Strong mentoring and counseling skills
- Ability to educate and engage youth in various activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with young people
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of individual participants

**Salary**: £24,702.00-£26,873.00 per year
