**Job description**:
Packing Hall Supervisor - Night Shift - Monday to Thursday

Are you experienced working night shifts and looking to work for a reputable and growing pharmaceutical manufacturer?

Ideally you will have experience working in a manufacturing or packaging role in a supervisor level. This is a good opportunity to join this fast paced company who have been trading for over 100 years. The Packing Hall Supervisor will help ensure GMP compliance and the timely packaging of pharmaceutical products within the packing hall.

**The Job**:
The Packing Hall Supervisor will have the following job roles and responsibilities:

- Ensure all operations and documentation are compliant with the GMP standards
- To assess staff availability and allocate to specific tasks on a day-to-day basis which will meet the production plan and anticipated sales or stock levels.
- Ensure that products are packed in a timely manner
- All staff performing operations are fully trained, or are undergoing formal training under supervision: all training is documented in a timely manner for each operation.
- To work with the M&PH Manager to achieve the efficient and compliant operation of the Packing Hall to meet the demands of the production plan.
- To delegate effectively to the Line Leaders and Line Setters to ensure the responsibilities are understood and the quality of work is maintained.
- To actively promote Health Safety and Environmental practices within the Department.

**The Person**:

- Previous supervisor experience is essential
- GMP knowledge would be ideal
- Experience working in fast paced production or packaging facility
- Night shift experience is also essential

- Hourly rate £12.50 per hour plus shift allowance of £2.85 per hour
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Company contributory pension - 3%
- Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am
