Branch Supervisor

Crossling are the North’s leading independent Plumbing and Pipeline Merchants. We have the following opportunity for employment within our very successful and growing organisation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, results driven person to become Branch Supervisor at our Darlington Branch who will assist the Branch Manager in developing the Branch and servicing the business.

Main duties include:

- Our Branch Supervisors are hands-on, who lead by example, and work closely with the Branch Manager with the day to day Branch operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers
- Support the Branch Manager to ensure the team complete actions and activities on time, and in full
- Ensure Branch team compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures
- Undertake stocktakes and audits
- Maintain maintenance records for Branch vehicles
- Conduct Branch housekeeping for front of house, warehousing and merchandising

**Person Specification**
- Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets
- A hands-on customer focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers
- A commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins
- Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and use own initiative
- Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office
- A full and valid driving license is essential, and a FLT licence could be a distinct advantage
- The ability to cover for the Branch Manager when required
- Experience within a similar role with good knowledge of domestic and commercial plumbing, sanitary, heating and also pipeline products.

**Management and Supervision**
You will report to the Branch Manager who will train you effectively in the areas required.

**Working Week**

Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pm with one hour lunch break.
