You will work as part of established teams across all grades and work collaboratively across the care group and all sites ie The Royal ,Aintree and Broad Green.

During the secondment you will support the develop new ways of working and service delivery in relation to respiratory care.

The successful applicants should have excellent respiratory care skills including tracheostomy and non-invasive ventilation management and an ability to contribute to the on call rota as required.

Previous experience of project management and delivering service improvements would be beneficial along with associated tools to facilitate this.

You will reporting into the to lead therapists with regards to action plans and progress.
- To work within current respiratory medicine teams to understand model of care.
- To link with current respiratory leads across sites to understand existing on call delivery ,respiratory roster management and safe numbers.
- To create a training model for rapid upskilling of respiratory skills with regards to on call competencies.
- To develop team model for ongoing clinical support in collaboration with exiting seniors.
- Review current In Service Training and update as required / store centrally
- Work closely with Leads / Managers to agree the training plan
- Work with and support identified staff in their own rotation area signing off relevant competencies.
- Work with seniors to develop expected timelines for the training of staff and required updates to maintain skills.
- Provide monthly updates to the senior managers regarding on progress of the project.
- Maintain own skills and competence to a high level.
- Upon completion present to the senior management team the project outcomes and recommended ways of working.
