Global Finance Analyst

I am currently working exclusively with a leading digital Media/Branding agency that are seeking to hire a proactive and business focused Global Finance Analyst to work alongside the Global CFO and divisional Finance Directors

You will provide global management team with strategic financial counsel - including financial reports, forecasts, budgeting and business planning, contract reviews and negotiations for client relationships, staffing plans etc.

Duties
- Comprehensive financial reporting and analysis - including executive commentary for CEO, variance analysis, key client revenue and comprehensive trend analysis to advise corporate/network business leaders
- Review of client revenue, work in progress, aged receivables, bad debt reserves, expense accruals and G&A expenses to ensure proper business controls
- Monthly forecasting of P&L and key performance indicators
- Annual budgeting and business updates - provide leadership and guidance to Finance Directors/Managers in the local markets for their business planning process in general, as well as developing delivery of timely and accurate revenue, cost and profit plansthat meet corporate expectations
- Provide insights and analysis concerning costs / benefits of decisions made - facilitating financial discussions between functional leaders (sales, account and operational leaders)
- Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of short & long-term strategic plans, operating plans and business transformation initiatives - whilst proactively identifying risks and opportunities for growth
- Certify financial results for the regions and provide financial results for consolidation into corporate results
- Continuing review of existing procedures and financial management systems to help build a world class finance function
- Liaising with senior management to identify new and enhance existing reporting tools to manage the group's business performance
- Provide guidance in the financial planning of new business operations and start-ups within the group, defining business plans and budgets - alongside evaluating benefits of acquisitions of new businesses
- Ad hoc tasks as required in a fast moving agency business environment

**Skills & Competencies**
- The appropriate qualification e.g. ICAEW/CIMA
- Previous service industry experience which bills time and expenses or equivalent
- Proven experience of effectively managing internal and external stakeholder relationships across multiple business units
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Accounting packages
- Autonomous and self-driven, whilst collaborative and positive in approach
