P/t Female Support Worker

**2 P/T Female Support Workers required for overnight supports, in Kilmaurs East Ayrshire.**

£14.00 per hr

**Duties**:
To Assist a young lady within her home, the shifts are waking nights,.

Please note that this is a Non Smoking Household

Outgoing / Sociable / reliable person required to support a young adult

The family are looking for 2 caring and nurturing individuals for this position.

The 2 positions are 20hours each per week. This being 2 x 10 hour waking night shifts. As well as cover each other for holidays

Days of work would be Sunday & Tuesday or Thursday & Friday 9pm till 7am each shift

The support is to a young person with Additional support needs and respiratory failure who uses a C-pap mask

Duties as follows

9pm check she is comfortable in bed with mask on and is working properly (parent will check this with you) Stay in room with her overnight to assist with mask throughout the night till morning.

Replace mask when removed sometimes for comfort or a drink is needed. Make sure mask is not blowing off when moving in sleep, if needed mask can be switched off removed and replaced until seal is correct and working efficiently.

At times she will need her milk refilled and covers adjusted.

Encouraged to go back to sleep if up prior to 7am.

The young person is a sociable, happy young lady

Please note that the family have 2 friendly dogs.
