Grade 2, scale point 3 and salary £20,812 - £21,189

ACTUAL SALARY IF PRO RATA:
£5315 - £5534

Role Description

Purpose Main

**Responsibilities**:

- To work as part of a team, building positive relationships with pupils. **Promote positive pupil behaviour in line with school policies**

Supervising pupils on the school site during the lunchtime break, including the dining room and outdoor play areas. Lunchtime supervisors assist in Interact with, and support pupils, according to individual needs and skills securing the health, safety, and good conduct of pupils. Experience Skills and Knowledge
- Experience of working with children **Experience of working with children**:

- Understanding of and commitment to following all safeguarding procedures of the school
- Ability to communicate in an appropriate manner with children/adults
- Commitment to enhancing pupils’ lunchtime experiences by encouraging play and social skills
- Ability to deal with challenging behaviour
- Ability to act upon own initiative

Education and Qualification **Ability to cooperate and work positively with other colleagues as part of a team**
- Experience of working with children **Willingness to learn and attend training as required**:
