**We are looking for an Assistant Academy Head and exemplary school leader who**:

- is an excellent classroom practitioner
- has a proven ability to raise standards for all pupils in the classroom
- has a clear vision of effective teaching and learning
- has high expectations of attainment and behaviour
- has the commitment and ability to inspire children and their joy of learning
- inspires trust and confidence in pupils and staff colleagues
- works with the Academy Head to build team commitment with colleagues
- works with the Academy Head to improve the quality of pupils’ learning and outcomes
- contributes to the school strategic/improvement plan and promotes the learning priorities of the school
- will promote the wider aspirations of the school, partnership hub and trust.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified Teacher Status (Degree 2:1+)
