**EXPERIENCED CURTAIN MAKER**

We are a small but highly motivated company, and we love what we do. We strive to provide a high-quality product and excellent service to our customers. We operate from our retail shop is based in the Kelso, Scottish Borders and trade online throughout the UK; our workroom is based near Coldstream.

We are a small team so it’s important for us to find the right person to join us.

**Duties**:
Make hand-sewn and machine-turned curtains; lined & interlined in a range of heading styles to accurate specifications.
Make hand-finished roman blinds.
Make scatter cushions, box cushions and lampshades.
Hand-sew all products, maintaining quality whilst managing high volumes.
Checking and cutting designer fabrics and linings from suppliers, notifying the Manager of any faults or flaws.
Ensure goods are appropriately packaged to meet delivery deadlines.
Check all finished products on completion and report any issues.
Keep your workspace tidy and adhere to the company’s health and safety standards. Assist in dealing with customers and requesting any missing information to complete orders when required.

**About you**:
You should work to an exceptionally high standard, to meet all production demands and deadlines as well as work within our small but dynamic and friendly team.
You will demonstrate a flair for interior design, soft furnishings with a keen eye for detail with pride and accuracy in your work.
You should have good communication skills and approach your work in an honest manner whilst taking responsibility for all aspects of the products we supply.
