**DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- As part of a highways team, take responsibility for the technical processes relating to carrying out a range of co-ordination, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of activities
- Ensure those working on the highway are in accordance with permit conditions issued and statutory requirements under relevant legislation
- Be responsible for scheduling and carrying out systematic and ad hoc site inspections, investigations and surveys of street works, road works and highway licences
- Gather and produce evidence to support and enforce breaches relating to highway legislation or health & safety.
- Responsible for authorising and advising on early start, extension and duration challenges for all works on the highway.
- To provide technical operational Streetworks assistance and support to internal officers and external organisations, including traffic management, diversion routes or other highway network related activities.

**Personal Requirements**:

- Vocational qualification or experience to level 3 or 4 relevant to the service user group or equivalent.
- A NRSWA supervisory qualification is essential along with relevant Industry experience
- Significant practical experience of working within Network Management or equivalent area

**WORKING HOURS AND RATE**:

- Mon - Fri, 09:00pm - 17:00pm
- Rate: £17.27
