**Location: Chesham, Buckinghamshire (HP5)**

**Salary: £28,000 - £31,200 per annum (Welcome Bonus)**

**Job Type: Full Time Position, 40 hours per week**

**The Role**:
Our client are looking for a **Nursery Deputy Manager **with a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Childcare and with experience in working in a day nursery with children aged from 3 months to 5 years old.

**Job Duties**:

- Adhere to all companies’ policies and procedures and ensure that these are adhered by all staff
- Promote good practise to meet the requirements of the EYFS
- Ensure appropriate planning and assessment is in place
- Provide leadership support to all staff and enable them to establish a professional positive working relationship with colleagues, parents and carers
- Deploy staff shift/lunch rotas effectively
- Implement effective keyperson system
- Ensure all children are kept safe and that staff are following safeguarding rules
- Support the nursery manager to evaluate and promote reflective practise
- Conduct parents’ tours of the nursery
- Support the nursery manager in making sure complaints/concerns are resolved in a timely manner
- Support nursery manager with all administrative duties, including maintaining children’s records, ordering resources and keeping personnel files
- Support nursery manager with recruiting, hiring, inducting and training and appraising all staff to deliver a high-quality service
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare
- 1 Year previous experience in working for a nursery
