They have attracted additional funding and are expecting to invest significantly in scaling up manufacturing capacity and capability, as wellas introducing new products and formulations. In line with this growth, they are looking to hire a QC Scientist.

**The Role of QC Scientist**
The QC Scientist will oversee the QC testing programme, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of QC results for product development, shelf-life studies and product release. You'll develop and validate acute reliable and accurate molecular and microbial QC Assays,establishing a thriving QC function. The QC Scientist will contribute to the day-to-day running and management of a laboratory, under direction of the Lead Scientist, and will draft project reports, contribute to project meetings, and present R&D results indepartmental meetings.

**To be considered for the QC Scientist, you'll need the following skills and experience;**
- Working experience within Microbial or Molecular Quality Control, including dilution plating and qPCR assays.
- Practical experience of developing and validating microbial and molecular assays
- Experience working with SOPs, and an understanding of Lab Quality Management
- Good communication, data analysis and documentation skills
