**About us**

Parallel 50 are looking to expand their team and are looking for confident Front of House / Barista / Food Prep support based at our new shop in Exmouth.

Our work environment includes:

- Food provided
- Casual work attire
- Relaxed but professional atmosphere
- On-the-job training

Part time weekday hours over lunch time - with possible occasional weekends.

We offer a friendly and fun working environment at our independent Coffee and food takeaway shop, ongoing training, supportive of work/life balance and complimentary lunch and coffee on shift.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about good food and good coffee.

**Responsibilities**:

- Excellent customer service skills and happy to chat to customers.
- Prepare food for service, following recipes and presentation specifications.
- Understand basic cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes.
- Ensure that food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures.
- Follow health and safety regulations when handling food and beverages.
- Operate various kitchen appliances such as blenders, mixers, and a coffee machine.
- Maintain a clean working area at all times.
- Have basic knowledge of Allergens and understand our products and our Allergens documentation.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 9-16 per week

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 16 per week

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
