Gardener

We are recruiting a hardworking and reliable Professional Gardener to join dynamic Garden Design, Landscaping and Maintenance company based in RM4 area.

ONLY PROFESSIONAL GARDENERS WHO ACTUALLY HAVE THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE OF DOING GARDEN MAINTENANCE ON A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL WITH HORTICULTURE BACKGROUND.

**Location**:
One of the site is a farm ground located in RM4. This specific site requires 5 hours per week all year round with more hours over Spring and Summer.

**Gardener Duties and Responsibilities**:

- At least 2 years’ proven experience in gardening.
- Ability to handle a range of nursery machinery and powered hand tools.
- In-depth knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.
- Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation.
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle and most tools.

**Gardener Skills and Requirements**:

- Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.
- Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control and leaf raking.
- Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants.
- Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such as leaf blowers, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers etc.
- Ability to service all garden equipment and machinery desirable, but not essential.
- Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
- Provide guidance to management on matters related to the garden.
- Advise management on the costs of plants and garden necessities with detailed written quotations and reports.
- Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.

**What You Need**:

- A driving license and your own vehicle to get to the sites
- Be registered as self-employed
- Your own tools though some may be provided depending on tasks

**Salary**:
£13 to £15/hour based on experience and skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
