**As Executive Director - Business & Finance** you will be joining the charity at a pivotal point, as they create a new executive team who will shape and define the next phase of the Trust’s evolution. This will involve re-branding, digital innovation,external relations, fundraising, capital expenditure, and strategic property investment/divestment.
**Your role**
You will oversee the financial operations, business performance, risks, and controls to ensure the financial sustainability of the trust. You will develop and implement the Trust’s financial strategy and identify creative initiatives that drive income generationand sustainability in a constantly changing environment with focus on value for money, commercial viability, and ambition. You will deliver strategic and accountable leadership across a portfolio of functions including Finance, Business Development, Digital,Property and Estates, and Health and Safety.
**About you**
You will be a fully qualified accountant and experienced Financial Director, able to demonstrate experience in supporting high quality delivery and ensuring commercial sustainability. You will ideally have experience of or good knowledge of the health / andor social care sectors and will be able to demonstrate your ability to lead and motivate high performing teams and to develop and deliver organisational strategy across multiple disciplines. You will be highly commercial and able to evidence your deliveryof commercial results in previous roles. You will be courageous and ambitious, a strategic and visionary thinker who is able to bring people together across the organisation. Above all you will be inspired by the work of the Trust in improving the outcomesfor people with brain injuries.
**Location**
If you have the right skill set for this role then you could be based anywhere, but with head offices in Wakefield and Burgess Hill Sussex, it would be preferable if you are able commute to one of these locations frequently with the ability to travel to bothas needed.
