Here at Blackrook are looking for an individual with a passion to help children achieve their very best, to develop and grow
- Being a positive role model is essential to support our children grow and develop
- The ability to sing in tune is not compulsory, but the ability to sing out of tune whilst having fun in front of a group of people is 100% essential.
- The best way to spread Blackbrook cheer is singing loudly for all to hear
- You must be able to read a story book and become each and every character with at least one or maybe two interruptions per page minimum.
- You must have the ability so remain calm and excited at the same time
- The ability to remember the names of all our children, their parents, siblings, grandparents, neighbours, pets and comforters and toys is definitely part of this job. Of course this is something that will develop over time.
- Having a wild imagination to go to outer space, travel to the farm, go on a plane, visit Father Christmas at his workshop is certainly on the cards for you day to day
- You must be prepared to have a lot of fun in the workplace. Laughter is 100% part of our daily routine; you can expect to engage in laughter for most of your working day.
- You must be prepared to feel loved, special, and part of the family, and important to many young children and their families. There is simply no other job quite like this ours.

We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic, Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team at Blackbrook Nursery School.

As an Early Years Practitioner you will be involved in planning and managing exciting educational activities that will inspire children to engage and develop.
- **Qualities**:_
- Approachable with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good time management, with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to remain calm, positive and enthusiastic when working under pressure.
- Passionate about children’s learning.
- Key Skills and Attributes:

- Recognised Early Years Qualifications - Level 3
- Knowledge of the EYFS.
- An understanding of child development stages.
- Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with children and parents.

Please Note: Successful applicants will be required to complete a DBS check and ensure this is kept up to date.

Nursery operation hours are 7.30am - 6pm and shift patterns are between these hours, depending on your contracted hours of work.
