Personal Care Assistant - Description

**Duties**:

- Provide care, support and assistance to a tetraplegic man, mainly in his home - Assist with daily including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household cleaning etc. Dog walking. Any other duties as required.
- Help develop and maintain independent living skills
- Support in participating in family, social events and at home entertaining

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient nature

Flexibility and reliability are essential. Working various daily shifts, usually split days 8.00 - 13.00 and 18.00 - 11.00. Shifts include weekends, and public holidays

You will be directly employed a minimum 25 hours a week, but with holiday cover etc you will have the opportunity to work many more. NB. Holiday pay is based on number of hours worked not contacted hours.

Please note this position is based in Hillside

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
