**Technical Administrator - BUK Rotherham**

Reporting to the Site Technical Manager, the Technical Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the technical team, responding appropriately to customer and consumer feedback, completing accurate data analysis and trending which is regularly shared across the site/business, educating manager and supervisors as appropriate to ensure that the company meets customer and legislative food safety and quality requirements.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
1. A working understanding and use of the current BUK Rotherham Quality Management System including how documents are referenced.

2. Practical understanding of the central technical QMS system

3. Ensure that documentation at all levels is maintained and where changes are done that they are within the document change procedure

4. Collect and file documentation and ensure that archiving is completed.

5. Ensure that all deviations from specification agreed are documented and reported through

6. An understanding and ability to amend and update specifications

7. Understanding departmental risk assessments (HACCP, Allergen, Food defense, Vegan)

8. Complaints administration

9. Technical data reporting

10. Overseeing the incident log & completion of investigations, including trending

11. Oversee the traceability schedule

12. Ensuring independent process checks are completed in each area according to the schedule and relevant actions taken if out of the limits or specification given.

13. Collation of data from taste panel session on a daily / shift basis.

14. Ensure that the Organoleptic Schedule including customer requirements are maintained and that any out of specification results are followed up diligently.

15. Collation of data end of life for mould or organoleptic against the Organoleptic schedule

16. Coordinate and drive the complaints meetings

17. Overseeing the Lab schedule, logging & tending results

18. Overseeing the calibration schedule, logging & trending results

19. Assistance during customer audits & visits

20. To complete GMP audits including preparation, the audit, reporting the key actions and following up if required

21. Glass & plastic register verification including follow up if required.

22. To complete CCP audits including preparation, the audit, reporting the key actions and following up if required.

23. To complete Quality System / Traceability Audits including preparation, the audit, reporting the key actions and following up.

24. To complete foreign body/ fabrication audits including preparation, the audit, reporting the key actions and following up.

25. Part of the Site Internal auditing team

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Good communication skills
- Good organisation skills
- Understanding of ingredients functionally
- Understanding of fundamental machine operations
- Good level of competence across all Microsoft office packages

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
