**CATERING MANAGER**

£42-44,000 + company benefits, 40 hour contract working mainly day time shifts

**YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT FOR THIS POSITION.**

This is a great position encompassing managing a busy day time catering operation alongside a small weddings, events and functions business. It will ideally suit a food and beverage manager from a hotel or a catering manager from a 7 day week contract cateringoperation - ideally education. Or you might be a general restaurant manager used to managing high volume restaurants and events. Some chef experience would be a bonus.

All the menus are produced fresh daily and you will manage every aspect of the business with full operational and P & L accountability.

**ROLE - CATERING MANAGER**

As the Catering Manager you will:

- Manage all day to day operations
- Control labour, stock and all costs & budgets
- Recruit, train and develop your team
- Manage weddings, events and functions
- Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
- Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures
- Oversee and work closely with the kitchen team
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Work to company targets and KPIs'

**ATTRIBUTES - CATERING MANAGER**
- Experience as a catering/restaurant/food & beverage manager
- Strong financial & commercial acumen - P & L accountability
- Excellent team development, communication and people management skills
- A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail
- An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance
- The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results
- Strong leadership, coaching, performance management and people development skills
- A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
- IT literate - working with systems & process
