Security Dog Handler

**Role Outline**

We are looking for a licensed security dog handler with a NASDU registered dog to perform security guarding services on our client’s construction sites.

**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Ensuring the site is safe and secure
- Monitoring site access points & assets
- Dealing with members of the public who approach/enter the site
- Preventing losses and damage by reporting any irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures
- Completing patrols around the site
- Controlling traffic by directing drivers
- Completing daily occurrence logs during shift
- Reporting suspicious activity

**About You**:

- Must hold a valid SIA license
- Must have own certified NASDU registered dog, with full insurance and up-to-date vaccinations
- You will need to be a good written and verbal communicator
- Professional and presentable at all times
- Must be confident enough to raise alarms and contact emergency services
- Must be comfortable with completing relevant paperwork

**Working Times**:
We may require you to work on different sites fulfilling different duties and working a variety of different shift patterns, therefore you will be required to have a flexible approach to the work offered. It is beneficial if you have your own transport.

**Salary**: £12.50-£12.75 per hour

Schedule:

- Night shift
- Weekend availability

- Peterborough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- security: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- SIA Badge (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
