Billinghay Parish Council is looking for a Clerk/RFO to support a growing community playing a vital role in the parish council.

The Parish Council is seeking highly organised and committed applicants to undertake this key role which is responsible for all day-to-day organisation and management of the Council’s services, staff, facilities and finances. You will need therefore to be enthusiastic, flexible and community-focussed with excellent leadership, management, administrative, interpersonal, accounting and IT skills in order to work successfully with staff, Councillors, external organisations, stakeholders and the community.

Ideally you should possess the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) qualification (with an expectation you will obtain it if not held) and have a general understanding of local authority organisation and management.

The post is part-time (24 hours per week) with office and home working and some evening meeting attendance required. We offer excellent nationally based terms and conditions of employment.

- In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post._
