Road Sweeper Co-ordinator

MJ Church Ltd are looking to recruit a Road Sweeper co-ordinator to join the Plant & Transport department on a full time permanent basis based out of our Head Office.

This person will be working with our Contracts team and external companies so they will need to be able to adapt to different audiences and be comfortable liaising with various onsite operatives

THE ROLE INVOLVES:
To book and co-ordinate the Road sweepers run from the Plant Department within MJ Church.

To source sweepers from approved suppliers, ensuring that cost, quality & delivery standards and targets are achieved and to ensure all orders are correctly raised.

KEY TASKS

Receive requests from Contracts Department, Contract Managers and external suppliers for Road sweeper hires.

To source external suppliers to cover additional work.

To accurately update the sweeper day sheet as changes are made.

To record and allocate all sweeps on Weighsoft 5.

To allocate the correct standpipes for the work the drivers are doing on a daily basis.

To ensure all defects are correctly communicated and acted upon.

To deal with drivers and operators regarding their daily work

Deal with queries promptly to a point where both parties are in agreement.

To invoice out on a timely basis.

To send drivers hours to the payroll department on a weekly basis.

CRITERIA
- Ability to multi-task - Ability to work within tight timescales - Has a natural pro-active approach toward their work - Can co-ordinate well within a team and work in partnership
- Good attention to detail

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
