Roofing Contractor

Responsibilities:

- Install and repair roofs and siding on residential and commercial buildings
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit specific project requirements
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
- Ensure proper alignment and plumb of roofing and siding materials
- Perform masonry work for chimney repairs or other related tasks
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete projects
- Interpret and follow schematics or blueprints for accurate installation
- Adhere to safety guidelines while working at heights and using heavy equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

- NVQ level 2
- Proven experience in roofing and siding installation
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for construction tasks
- Ability to read and interpret schematics or blueprints
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues during installations or repairs
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship

**Salary**: £150.00-£250.00 per day
