As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Invoice Processing**: Efficiently process and code supplier invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- **Payment Processing**:Prepare and process payment runs, reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
- **Vendor Relations**: Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding invoice and payment enquiries, fostering positive relationships.
- **Data Entry**:Accurately input financial data into the accounting system, maintaining up-to-date and organised records.
- **Month-End Activities**: Assist in month-end closing procedures, providing necessary support to the finance team.
- ** **Expense Management**:Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- **Ad-Hoc Duties**: Undertake additional tasks and projects as required to support the overall financial function of the company.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger role.
- A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
- Proficient in the use of accounting software (experience with Epicor is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
