We are expanding our team and are therefore flexible with the amount of hours per week ranging from 20-40 hours. Shifts rangefrom 8am and finishing at 7pm and our team usually do a 6 hour day. 8 and 10 hour days would be considered. We are looking for team members for each our sites (Kidlington, Botley and Headington), ideally you will be able to cover across them all. This role is for those wanting a career in veterinary reception and administration. Full training and career progression is supported, including recognised certification in veterinary reception.

As a Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals. You will need to be able to work well within a team as well as working individually, however support from your peers is always on hand. We are a professional and personable team working in a very challenging and busy environment, which makes the role varied, interesting and no day is ever the same

You will need to have the ability to remain calm under pressure and also show empathy towards everything that is thrown at you, from sharing the excitement of a puppy's first visit to the vets or comforting a client who has received some bad news.

Previous receptionist or customer facing experience is essential. Previous veterinary industry experience would also be highly beneficial. Most importantly, we are looking for a team player who is flexible and adaptable - as there are so many aspects to the role, we need someone who is quick thinking and willing to learn

The salary for this position is dependent on experience and can go up to £11 per hour. There are annual salary reviews and we have a bonus scheme. Overtime for PT staff is available and paid 1 month later. CPD will be fully supported after passing probation.
