A **Supply Chain Bu**yer **is required at our manufacturing site **Newquay, Cornwall**, UK. In this role, you will manage raw material components and purchasing parameters within Cytiva Newquay to optimise the use of manufacturing capacity to best meet the needs of the customers, business and our expansion plans

**What You'll Do**:

- To interrogate SAP for the demand of products to enable the development of the manufacturing schedule and to review as required.
- To ensure all dates are aligned in SAP.
- To check and advise any master data issues for raw material components.
- To liaise with the SIOP on matters relating to planning and movement of materials and goods.
- To ensure raw material availability for the weekly plan that is clean of any materials issues.
- To manage part and component planning parameters at all levels whilst acknowledging corporate inventory policy.
- To understand the value stream capacity plan and model the effects of future demand.
- To liaise with the European Procurement Group relating to supply contracts and other supply chain matters.
- Provide promptly delivery date updates on raw materials and components to manufacturing.
- To issue weekly vendor schedules and call-off requests to the supply base in line with planned/forecast requirements.
- To participate in meetings with suppliers and to promote close collaborative working relationships with suppliers.
- To take an active role in the continuous improvement process both within the value stream and across all supply chain activity.

**Who You Are**:

- MCIPS is highly preferred.
- Skilled in computer systems including MRP, MPS, SAP and Excel.
- Experience in a similar role (preferable) (Procurement, Purchasing, Materials Buyer, Contracts Negotiator
- Use of computerised inventory/purchasing/stores systems.
