THE DIVISION

The AG Finance Group as whole has significant capability in Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance, Funds Finance, Speciality Finance, Structured Finance & Derivatives, Debt Capital Markets, Real Estate Finance and Social Housing Finance, with 30 partners and over 85 other fee earners in the UK.

The AG team has been systematically growing in both revenue and reputation over the past few years, and are committed to the continued growth and development of both our City practice and our comprehensive finance offering.

The Structured Finance team joined the Firm in April 2020 and are a well-established practice led by market-renowned partner Rachel Kelly, with over 30 years' experience in structured finance and capital markets at major international law firms. The practice covers a very broad range of structured finance and securitisation transactions (public and private, national and international), acting for all market participants across all business sectors and asset classes. The team works very closely with other practices across the Firm, in particular with teams specialising in Financial Services Transactions, Financial Regulation & Compliance and Speciality Finance.

THE ROLE AND TEAM

The quality of Rachel Kelly and her team, which includes Legal 500 "Next Generation Partner" Carl Posern, Zoe Connor and Kerry Pettigrew, is a testament to the huge scope for growth across both AG's extensive existing client base as well as developing new areas.

The practice has great breadth and variety, and this is a great opportunity for a Structured Finance & Securitisation lawyer to expand their knowledge and skillset and develop their career at Managing Associate level.

YOU

Are a qualified lawyer with experience of working within a structured finance and securitisation practice.
Ideally you'll have covered both private and public securitisations.
Have enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work, are ambitious and confident to deliver at the highest standard.
Have a commercial flair and acumen and are excited by growth and new ideas.
Are details focussed, self-motivated and proactive, and confident in building enduring relationships with clients that are based on trust and high quality service delivery.
