**We are recruiting 2 Assistant Cooks at Caerphilly County Borough Council.**

**Contract Type**:Permanent/ Part Time 3.5 hours per day, 17.5 hours a week, term time only working (38 weeks)
**Location**: Abercarn Primary School

**Contract Type**:Part Time/ Fixed term until 1st September 2024, 2.5 Hours per day, 10 Hours a week, Thursdays and Fridays Only.

**Location**:Ynysddu Primary school

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Catering Team.

**We pay an attractive salary of £12 per Hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.**

**For the role, we ask that you have**:

- Level 2 Food Safety Safeguarding Children Manual handling Customer care
- Understands the role to perform duties effectively and efficiently. Appreciates the need to support and respect equalities principles. Able to confidently answer questions on area of responsibility. Understands the impact of own work on others.
- Ability to work precisely and effectively under pressure and to deadlines and have a strong sense of purpose.
