**Job description**

**Do you have passion for supporting patients and working with a team to deliver the best patient journey?**

You will be playing a critical part in supporting patient care by carrying out professional and clinical screening and if appropriate, intervention of all prescriptions, and accurate dispensing resulting in improved health outcomes for the patients in our care.

As an ACT or ACD you will work closely with hospital teams; provide a remote dispensing and delivery service to inpatient wards, ; deal with medicines requiring therapeutic monitoring; where necessary support patients to optimise their treatments; liaising with healthcare professionals in referring centres regarding their patients and the service provided by the business. You will oversee and perform final accuracy checking of the dispensing and supply of medicinal products, ACT or ACD as the supervisor when required and find solutions to operational issues such as the need to source and/or supply medicines urgently.

**This all sounds great - What key skills do I need to apply**:

- ACT or ACD qualification
- Proven experience working as an ACT or ACD in a community or hospital environment
- Exceptional communication skills including active listening, questioning, and demonstrating interpersonal sensitivity
- A passion for delivering excellent patient care, individually and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £24,960.00-£27,040.00 per year
