**RNIB is looking for a n Assistant Financial Accountant**

This role will assist in the preparation of annual accounts for RNIB Group, providing transactional support to enable stakeholder engagement.

You will also manage and assist in the monthly reconciliation, preparation, and monitoring process and in the preparation of underlying Financial Accounting data for the RNIB Group.

**What you'll be doing**

Assist with audit preparation

Reconciling monthly balance sheets and control accounts

Leading on month end processes such as prepayments, accruals and journals.

Refreshing and uploading budget and forecast templates

Overall you will be supporting the Financial Accounting Manager as required.

**What you'll need to succeed in this role**

Previous experience in similar type of role in an accounting environment to include financial accounting procedures and financial practices for both income and expenditure transactions.

Strong Organisational skills.

Strong IT skills (in particular excel)

Ability to work to deadlines

Excellent communication skills
