As a Punch/Press Setter & Operator, you'll be a vital asset, utilizing your programming, setting, and operating skills to ensure machinery operates efficiently while maintaining impeccable quality standards. Enjoy the benefits of a 4-day workweek, Monday to Thursday, from 07:45 to 17:30.

**Role Objective**:
Your primary goal as a Punch/Press Setter & Operator is to efficiently program, set up, and operate machinery, ensuring top-tier quality and productivity. Collaborate closely with production leadership to understand objectives, meet targets, and uphold deadlines, all while playing a pivotal role in a thriving manufacturing environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with production leadership to align on production goals.
- Ensure team and individual targets are met within agreed-upon timelines.
- Utilize your expertise to operate machinery, crafting metal objects of the highest quality.
- Interpret engineering drawings and bring them to life with precision.
- Conduct thorough safety checks and maintain accurate documentation.
- Undertake pressing, punching, fabrication, and material transfer tasks using various equipment and technologies.
- Execute Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on machines following protocols, coordinating repairs as needed.
- Participate in initiatives to enhance manufacturing practices and systems.
- Demonstrate a proactive problem-solving approach and provide support across production areas.
- Uphold a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Ideally possess an NVQ Level 2 in Machine Operations qualification.
- Proven experience in Punch/Press setting and operation is essential.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and effectively solving challenges.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices.
